Yom Kippur

Today, Aubrey and I had a little holiday off of school and daycare for the Jewish holiday Yom Kippur. I don't really know what the holiday is about or really for, but Quinnipiac along with Aubrey's daycare was closed, so we were able to spend the whole day together. Unfortunately Sam still had to work, so it was just us girls. We didn't do anything exciting, but it was great to be with her all day. We went to the playground in our apartment complex and ran some errands together. It is really turning into a beautiful fall out here and this weekend is suppose to be the peak time for the changing leaves. Sam doesn't have to work this Saturday, so hopefully we can go do something fun. I just wanted to share some photos from our day together. I'm not sure what is up with Aubrey giving me this cheesey grin today, but it's still pretty cute!

Aubrey wanted to wear Mommy's vest.

She's looking at the dogs watching us from the window.

There must be a lot of Jewish people in your community for everything to be shut down for Yom Kippur...worked out well for you, though! Aubrey is beautiful, her smile just sparkles. We miss you guys!
