Stanley Cup

Our friends Craig and Sarah invited us to go with them to one of the QU men's hockey games last night. Little did we know it was kind of a big night at the sports arena because several NHL all stars and the Stanley cup were there for the game. We ended up not getting to the game until after the 1st period had started and didn't really know what we had missed. The game was fun and it was a blow out win by QU over Providence. Aubrey is such a good girl at the games. She gets into the clapping and cheering with the crowd and she loves dancing to the music of the band. As we were leaving the ice arena Sam saw one of his co-workers and his wife. She happens to work for the QU athletic department and they asked if we wanted to see the cup. All four of us were like, "Sure ok" not knowing it was a pretty big deal. Only booster members were being allowed in to take pictures and touch it, but we got in too! Luckily Craig had his camera phone on him to take a picture. The cup was big and really shinny and it was pretty cool to see. Oh yeah, Aubrey also enjoyed her first bus ride last night too. We had to park and take a shuttle to the arena because of the crowd. She kept saying bus and loved watching all the people. We had a fun night!
