Wow

Ok, I have been so bad at blogging and even checking my email, so this is a quick update on what is going on with us. Last week I began my hospital rotations at St. Francis in Hartford, CT. It has been a little bit of an adjustment. My days are like this: get Aubrey and I up and out of the apt. by 7am, drop Aubs at daycare, 45-60 minute commute in rush hour traffic to get to the hospital by 8:30am, at hospital till 5 or 5:30 then, commute back home to meet Sam and Aubrey for dinner, help get Aubrey ready for bed, then I go to bed! I am so happy to be working and getting the hospital experience, but after the first week I was completely exhausted!! I am getting better adjusted to the schedule now and I'm really enjoying learning to gross surgical specimens under the PA's at the hospital. The weekend before my rotations began my sisters came out to visit us for the weekend. It was a quick trip, but we it was great to spend time with them! We showed them around the Yale campus, went to the beach and or course did a little shopping. Aubrey loved seeing her aunts even though she kept getting confused about who was Jen and who was Jess...two J names was slightly confusing! Sam's still waiting to see what happens with the sales position with Transworld Systems, but we hope to know more my the end of this week. We are looking forward to warmer summer weather soon too. Unfortunately, we're still dealing with rainy, cooler temperatures. Aubrey loved going to the beach and playing in the sand so we hope to get there more often to relax on the weekends! As soon as we get a glitch in our computer repaired, I'll post some new photos!!
