Ok, so almost another month has gone by and I still haven't posted photos! I've thought about it...really I have, but the thought of sitting on the computer when I get home is so unappealing I never make myself do it. (Yes, I blogging at work..don't tell!) Anyway fall is coming in Colorado and I'm not excited about it. I love fall food/baking and watching football, but I hate the fact that winter is coming. I did say hate right?!?! I HATE winter, but I can't change the fact that it comes every year. Plus we could never move to a climate where winter never comes because it is too far away from all of our family, so I just need to suck it up for the rest of my cold hating life. :)
What have we been up to the past month? I'm still working away and was finally approved to work in the hospitals (Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland and Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley). So I've started working back in the hospital environment instead of just at my path groups private office. It been kind of nice doing frozen sections again and working a little more directly with the pathologists...actually doing what I was trained to do (a little more anyway). It means a little more of a commute to work, but the extra 10 minutes isn't too bad.
Sam's football coaching is going well and Windsor varsity is now 3-2 on the season plus his freshman team is 4-1. They definitely have there up and downs and seem to like to clinch their victories in the last 60 seconds of the games, but its still exciting and I think Sam is pretty happy with it overall. I know he really enjoys coaching the boys and Aubrey actually loves going to practice too. She now recognizes football games on TV and yells at the dogs to hustle which is pretty hilarious! Plus last week she was able to take her first ride on a school bus to a freshman football game in Longmont. I was a little nervous about the whole thing, but Sam convinced me it would be ok. Well, needless to day Aubrey had a blast and couldn't stop talking about the bus and getting to sit with the training girls. She absolutely love it!! She totally amazes (and scares me) with her "no fear" attitude when it come to talking to people and doing things. Since she's turned three I feel like she it getting so big. She's definitely not my little baby girl anymore and some of the things she says totally crack me up. Aubrey had her 3 yr. pediatrician appointment and she has grown 2 inches since we left Connecticut! How is that even possible?!
In September we were able to go watch my cousin Brennan play football (he's a kicker/punter for University of Nebraska at Kearney) and visit my grandparents in Nebraska. It turned out to be horrible, cold rainy weather the day of the game, but it was still nice to get to see him play. Aubrey was a trooper and you should hear her cheer at football games. One more thing she has learned from watching the cheerleaders during practices with Dad! Sam went to the Broncos vs Colts football game...I had to work, so I hope next time (Broncos vs Raiders) I will get to go and its not too cold. We were also lucky enough to have my Dad and his girlfriend Janet come down to visit us in Windsor two weekends in a row. He was actually coming down to Colorado to look at and purchase a car, but it helped that he had a daughter to visit and stay with too. Plus, last weekend they were able to help us celebrate (or not celebrate) my 30th birthday. It is hard for me to believe I'm now 30 (i hate the idea and it makes me feel extremely old) and I thought about crying a few times, but I didn't. We were all able to do some shopping and go out to eat and have some great food. Plus my wonderful husband and daughter completely surprised me by making me a double layered red velvet cake with chocolate covered strawberries on the top! I was totally surprise and the cake was so yummy (three days later and it's completely gone)! Not once since we have been married has Sam made me a cake, yet alone baked anything, so the fact that they made it, decorated it beautifully and remembered that red velvet was my favorite was a huge, huge shocker!! I love you Sam and Aubrey!!
Overall the month of September was great and pictures to come...I promise! :)

I loved reading the update on your life. Sounds like everything is going great! Aubrey is such a sweetie! Hope you guys will be in GJ soon. I'll let you know if we're ever over on the Eastern slope, but we hardly are ever there unless David goes by himself for work.
